I really enjoyed this letter, it says a lot about how, granted our focus is on producing an excellent portfolio, there are so many things to consider and not forget about, art being a very important aspect. thanks greg
My Question. In the following scenarios do A and C really get you to the same place? (My thinking as a writer is I'd choose A, then C, then B. It doesn't seem quite right to give A and C equal weight. The two would be different kinds of 'happy' over a longer haul of projects.)Quoting: "You have a good writer available. You need to team that person with a partner. Here’s the math part:A) Good Writer + Art Director with strong conceptual and executional skills= A good idea fully-realized.B) Good Writer + Art Director with strong conceptual, but poor executional skills= A good idea not fully-realized.C) Good Writer + Graphic Designer with strong executional skills= A good idea fully-realized."
